These two stone cottages enjoy a wonderful setting overlooking Craster
Harbour. They were originally built in the 1830s as
fishermen's cottages and although since modernised to the highest of
standards, have retained many features of the period. They can be booked
as a pair if larger accommodation is required.
The beamed living rooms, with harbour views, have comfortable leather
settees and 'living flame' fires. The cosy, farmhouse-style
kitchens/dining rooms, with ceramic-tiled floors and fully fitted pine
units, have brand new appliances including electric hob/grill/oven,
microwave, fridge and dishwasher. They have pine dining tables and
chairs. Each cottage has an automatic washer/dryer, an iron and ironing
board. There is a separate downstairs WC in each cottage.
Upstairs, to the front, each cottage has a double bedroom with harbour
views, and to the rear a twin-bedded room. Bedding comprises pillows
and duvets; bed linen and towels are supplied freshly laundered.
Both the bedrooms and the living rooms have wooden laminate flooring.
The fully tiled bathrooms/WCs have an over-bath shower.
